Set Up Automated Emails on Your Job Boards

Applicant tracking and sourcing platforms allow you to send automated emails candidates when they apply to your job posting. The “default” message is typically “thank you for applying to xyz…” but you have the ability to edit that content. 

Many SENTIO users include instructions to complete the assessment on that automated email. Below are two examples:

“We appreciate you applying to work here. In an effort to learn more about you as a candidate, please complete this brief survey: . We will contact you when we have received the results.”

"You have been selected to move to the next stage in our hiring process! In an effort to learn more about you as a candidate, please complete this brief survey: . We will contact you when we have received the results."

Add Your Assessment Link to Your Job Description

Most of our customers post their assessment link at the top of their job descriptions (Indeed, CareerPlug, TalentReef) with language like “to be considered for the position, please complete this survey: <link>”. The SENTIO survey also collects an applicant’s resume, email, and zip code so it’s a great way to capture a ton of data at first touch. 

To generate your assessment link, 

  1. Go to your position dashboard. 
  2. Press the “Analyze Candidates” tab. 
  3. Press “Generate URL”
  4. Copy and paste the URL into your job description. 

Download SENTIO Boost

SENTIO Boost is a Google Chrome Extension that connects your HR tools to SENTIO. Use Boost on any web-based ATS, job board, or social network to “grab” an applicant’s email address and instantly send them your SENTIO survey. 

Boost is included in all paid SENTIO subscriptions and can be downloaded here.

 

Import Candidates from Your Job Board

Most systems allow you to export your candidates to an excel spreadsheet. Once you are happy with your applicant pool, you can simply copy and paste the exported list into SENTIO. This will mass-email all of your applicants.

  1. Go to your Indeed Page. 
  2. Export Candidates into a CSV File. 
  3. Go to “Analyze Candidates” in your SENTIO account. 
  4. Copy and paste the names/emails from the file. 
  5. Press “Send Email Invitations”
